A Tough Week For Guys Named Bob
Just after 6 p.m. last Wednesday (April 30) two workers installing tanks at a Shell station at 109th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard were reported to have fallen into the holes. One of those workers was DTW's Bob Cannon.

San Diego Tournament
San Diego Tournament will be played once again at Point Loma Nazarene College, the diamond with an ocean view. This year's dates are June 20 - 22.

2nd Annual "Survivor Banner Island"
"Survivor Banner Island" Fantasy Baseball Tournament from September 26-28. Every team will get at least one game at Banner Island Ballpark which is the new home of the Oakland A's Single A minor league affiliate Stockton Ports. Every team will get at least one game at the historic Billy Hebert Field, the former home of the Ports until they moved in 2005.
